Exhaust Checks

An exhaust system is very complex, consisting of a number of parts of which some might need to be replaced depending on the age of your vehicle.

An exhausts function is to reduce heat and noise produced by the engine along with letting gases escape in an environmentally friendly way, while improving engine efficiency and fuel consumption.

If part of your exhaust is blown and in particular the rear silencer, it produce a lot of noise and cause poor engine performance.

Holes in your exhaust could also cause toxic gas emissions, all of which could result in your vehicle failing its MOT. To avoid this, our Citroen technicians will check for any holes or cracks in your exhaust system to make sure you don’t fail.
